For the 2026 edition, selected speakers participating in the licensed event will do so through TEDxKubwa, an independently organised TEDx event.

The 100 positions are not filled on the basis of fame, following, or professional seniority alone. They are filled on the basis of idea quality, intellectual readiness, and the potential for lasting contribution.
Selection to speak at TEDxKubwa is not purchased and should not be represented as conditional upon payment to Project TEDxAfrica.
If Project TEDxAfrica offers separate paid travel, hospitality, visibility, cultural or professional services, those must be placed on a separate page and clearly identified as independent of TEDx speaker selection.
