The experience begins with arrival in Abuja and a curated introduction to African culture, hospitality and community.
Participants receive programme orientation before joining the African Welcome Experience—an evening designed around culture, storytelling, connection and welcome.
Structured preparation sessions provide speakers with opportunities to refine idea clarity, narrative, delivery and stage readiness ahead of the licensed event.
Working in small cohorts with experienced coaches, each speaker works through their talk structure, narrative arc, and delivery. Speakers also observe and critically support each other — building the kind of honest, high-level peer review that elevates every participant's output.
An independent Project TEDxAfrica experience designed to connect participants with the cultural, creative, and historical fabric of Abuja and Nigeria's capital territory.
Curated cultural experiences offer a deeper connection to place, people, heritage, and contemporary African life. These are not tourism activities, but thoughtfully selected experiences that encourage discovery, reflection, and a richer understanding of Nigeria and its cultural landscape
Selected engagements provide participants with opportunities to encounter Abuja's institutional, professional and leadership ecosystem through curated conversations and visits.

UBEC Digital Auditorium, Abuja
On 26 September, selected speakers and participants will join TEDxKubwa — The Next Chapter, an independently organised TEDx event operating under its TEDx licence.
The event brings together carefully developed ideas and a live audience for a day of thought-provoking conversations and perspectives.
Where talks are recorded for submission, any subsequent review and publication will remain subject to the applicable TEDx processes and requirements.
Project TEDxAfrica continues beyond September through community engagement, professional relationships, independent storytelling, alumni activities and opportunities for future collaboration.
